Thornton will lead the series in the role of Tommy Norris, a crisis manager for the oil company, and he’ll be joined by Hamm as Monty Miller, a titan of the Texas oil industry who has a long personal and professional relationship with Norris.

Demi Moore is also among the latest stars to join the cast, and her character has been described as the wife to one of the most powerful oilmen in Texas. “It depends…on the script, what the story is,” he told Bensinger. “I am a huge comic book fan, always have been…it depends on the story. It all comes down to the story.”
