It also hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs, Digital Song Sales, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and Hot Rap Songs charts.
Stallion is no stranger to hitting No. 1, and she previously did it with the “Savage” remix ft. Beyoncé and the Cardi B collaboration “WAP”. Topping the Hot 100 with “Hiss”, however, feels more special because it’s her first solo single to soar to the top of the chart.
Stallion celebrated the success of “Hiss” with a post on social media, and promised it’s just the beginning of something special.
“Thank you to everyone that ran it up!!! Im so thankful, so grateful, so appreciative!!! Hotties we got THEE ALBUM AND THEE HOT GIRL SUMMER TOUR NEXT Lets stay focused and stay positive and keep going up!!!” she wrote on Instagram.

]]>The duo recently teased their collaboration on social media, and it didn’t take them long to share it with the world. The catchy banger is inspired by Lindsay Lohan’s iconic line “It’s not my fault you’re like in love with me or something!” from the original Mean Girls film, which served as a basis for the Broadway musical that inspired this new version.
Megan Thee Stallion, who has long called herself “the Black Regina George”, was the obvious choice for this collaboration. She had the time of her life rapping alongside Reneé Rapp, who’ll play this iconic character in the highly-anticipated musical remake of the 2004 classic.
In addition to Rapp as Regina George, Mean Girls: The Musical will also star Angourie Rice, Auliʻi Cravalho, Christopher Briney, Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Bebe Wood, Avantika Vandanapu, Jon Hamm, and Busy Phillips. It will be released on January 12, 2024, by Paramount Pictures.

]]>Stallion did a great job teasing her new single on social media, and it’s not a coincidence she chose to name her new song after one of the most venomous snake species on Earth.
“Cobras exemplify courage and self-reliance. They stand tall and fierce in the face of challenges, teaching one to tap into their inner strength and rely on oneself to conquer their threats. Emulating the cobra helps one be more confident in the person they are within,” she wrote on Instagram.
The Douglas Bernardt-directed visual for Stallion’s latest single kicks off with the rapper crawling out of a snake’s mouth and bravely delivering her verses while a huge snake hisses right in her face. As the video progresses, we watch Stallion peeling the layers of her skin inside a glass box, surrounded by photographers, before performing an elaborate dance routine in the middle of the desert.
“Cobra” marks the rapper’s first solo single of 2023, and it’s expected to be featured on her third studio album, released through her newly-founded label Hot Girl Productions.

]]>Halloween was a huge deal in the Kardashian/Jenner household, and members of this family have given us several pretty amazing costumes. Some of them even made it to our list, including Kendall Jenner as Wonder Woman and Kim Kardashian, who wore a matching Clueless costume with her daughter North West.
Several costumes inspired by Y2K nostalgia also made the cut, starting with Paris Hilton dressing up as her good pal Britney Spears in the iconic “Toxic” music video. Keke Palmer knocked it out of the park with her Life-Size costume, while Hailey Bieber paid homage to Mean Girls.
Several stars impressed us with their matching costumes, but no one beats the Riverdale girlies. Camila Mendes, Madeline Petsch, and Lili Reinhart stole the show with several group costumes over the years, and they dressed up as the Gotham City Sirens this time around.
Heidi Klum, Halle Bailey, Ariana Grande, and Megan Thee Stallion are also among the stars who knocked us off our feet this Halloween, so stick around to check out their show-stopping costumes.

“We’re doing something for the first time independently since it was just me and my mama. I’m so excited ’cause it’s literally just me this go round until we sign to a new label. But I don’t want to sign to a new label right now because I just want to do it myself,” she explained.
Megan Thee Stallion has two studio albums under her belt: 2020’s Good News and 2022’s Traumazine, both released by 300 Entertainment and 1501 Certified. She took a brief break from music to focus on mental health earlier this year, but eventually made a comeback with the Cardi B collaboration “Bongos”. “I’m really excited about this chapter of my life because I feel like I’m finally closing all the old chapters, and now I’m starting with a blank slate. Very fresh, very new. I think Thee Hotties are gonna be so excited. I’m trying different things,” explained Stallion.
“Bongos” with Cardi B is Stallion’s first release of the year, and it probably won’t be the last time the two rappers join forces. Stallion discussed her relationship with the “Bodak Yellow” rapper with Billboard and said she enjoys working with her because she loves the creative freedom that Cardi gives her.

“I feel like this video is just very beautiful; like, it has choreography, but it’s a location video… This type of stuff costs a lot of money for the videos and rehearsals every day — it costs a lot of money, it’s a lot of work,” she explained during an appearance on the iHeartMedia radio show Way Up with Angela Yee.
The epic visual was filmed in Malibu, California, and it shows the duo rapping their hearts out in a series of elaborate outfits, including oversized feathered hats. Some of the scenes are filmed on a sun-kissed beach, while the rest of the video takes us to a fancy Malibu mansion with an outdoor pool and designer furniture.

This career shift doesn’t come as a surprise for Stallion’s fans since she previously opened up about her Hollywood ambitions. The Grammy-winning rapper told The Hollywood Reporter she wants to explore the filmmaking business, both on and off camera.
“I definitely want to be an actress, but I also really want to be a director. For me, I love movies. I’m just definitely like a film buff… I like to create. Not only do I like to write music, I like to write stories. I definitely want to see these stories come to life,” Stallion explained.
This won’t be Stallion’s first acting role—she previously appeared on TV shows P-Valley, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Good Girls, and we’ll soon see her make her feature debut in the musical comedy F***ing Identical Twins opposite Nathan Lane, Bowen Yang, and Megan Mullally.

She previously told Rolling Stone that she wants to take listeners through many different emotions on this record, and doubled down on that on Instagram.
“It took a lot of self-reflecting to get to the point in my life where I am right now… I ain’t saying I finally figured everything out or that I’m finally at peace, [because] I’m not… buttt I’m excited for the hotties to get a better understanding of what’s happening in my head,” wrote Stallion on Instagram.
Before hitting the shelves on August 12, Traumazine was preceded by singles “Sweetest Pie” featuring Dua Lipa, “Plan B”, and “Pressurelicious” with Future. It also features collaborations with Jhené Aiko, Ricko Nasty, and Latto, among others.

Taking to Instagram, Megan shared a photo from the recording studio with the words: “So happy abt my album, it’s finished.” The 27-year-old singer held back on most details, but did write, “it’s for the hotties, it’s honest, it’s real, it’s me.” It is believed that she has already recorded between 25 and 30 songs.
